I shoot mostly for fun, although I have done a few commissions and have sold a few prints. I mostly use a Canon 5D II with a fixed 50 mm, and would much rather take pictures than spend a lot of time messing with them on a computer. I like shooting people (including nude ones) more than anything, but will shoot pretty much anything that catches my eye.  

The tumblr name refers to a comment I once received in response to a photograph: my name is not Donald.  More work can be found at garyottley.com.

I was born in America to a French father and Australian mother. I am 18 years old, soon to be 19, and currently living and studying in France. I like to experiment with my cameras and post production to see what kind of results I can get! I use a Nikon D90 and a GoPro HD2. I haven’t figured out my own artistic style yet, but that is why I made a blog! To show off and keep track of all my favourite photos and see how I am developing.

I’m Kana Alam, I live in London and currently on my gap year.

My family is not exactly the richest, so having a quite expensive hobby like photography is tricky. But Chase Jarvis once said, “The best camera is the one that is with you”, and Alfred Eisenstaedt said “The most important thing is not the camera, but the eye”. They are now my life mottos and I keep reminding myself each day that photography is always about the feel.
